Swim Resolution 2021 #swimwithSS
Posted on December 24 2020
As we countdown to the new year, we’re beginning to unwind and reflect on the year that has been 2020. Despite the overwhelming and continuous aftermath from the virus that shall not be named, 2020 has been the year we dived into something completely new and launched our full coverage, multifunctional, sustainable swimwear line – Sei Sorelle Swimwear.
But as a brand we want to be so much more! Sei Sorelle Swimwear was born through recognising a lack of uptake of swimming amongst women and girls who prefer to wear modest swimwear. Sport England reported 5% of Asian adults engaged in swimming compared to 87% of white British adults… ask yourself why? Is it clothing, culture, confidence?
The recent evolution of the modern, full coverage swimsuit has been amazing, there is now more choice than ever, allowing you to find something that reflects your style, your level of modesty and elevates your confidence! So why not re-direct all that happy energy into developing a new skill, a lifesaving skill, and unlock the door to exploring the vast, infinite ocean, which is home to some of the most majestic animals all whilst keeping fit! Swimming can also have a positive impact on mental health, it’s been proven to reduce stress and improve your mood.
So, this 2021, let’s all make a resolution to empower one another to take up swimming, or if you can already swim, develop your skill and teach your girls. Together let’s change the culture, break down the barriers and drive the statistics in our favour. Grab your buddy and use our hashtag #swimwithSS.
