Our mission

We don’t take these words lightly, we are aware of the impact our lifestyles can have on the environment, even more aware of the impact the fashion industry has in over producing, polluting water ways and damaging eco systems. That’s why we decided that sustainability was going to be at the core of our business, that we would strive to produce high quality, modest swim garments whilst minimising our impact on the environment as far as possible.

Not fast fashion, we’re all about ethical fashion

We’re not into the fast fashion model that fuels excessive production and drives mindless consumption. We strongly believe in slow mindful production in smaller quantities, made from sustainable processes, producing less waste.

We are committed to fair labour conditions and have worked hard with our suppliers and manufacturers to ensure ethical working conditions with complete transparency. That’s why we’ve chosen to work with a small family run factory. They are committed to fair pay, safe working conditions and respect for all their workers.

Sustainable available to all

Currently, sustainable fashion is a niche and not the standard - this means big price tags because of small scale production. However fast fashion also has a price tag. Unfortunately, the cost of this is borne by underpaid and undervalued workers in the supply chains and the destruction of the planet.

We are committed to changing the fashion culture, staying true to our original vision of breaking down barriers and making a collection available to all, we have strived to keep our prices competitive.

Our Fabric

Choosing the right fabric was at the core of our collection’s journey, we were passionate about choosing a sustainable material but didn’t want to compromise on the specification. During our research we were introduced to a fabric created by a leading Italian fabric manufacturer for swimwear, activewear and outerwear. 

Our sustainable techno-fabric is made from an ECONYL® regenerated Nylon and elastane. It’s certified as STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, this is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It’s a flawless blend of performance, durability and comfort and this versatility lends itself perfectly to the multifunctional performance of our swimsuits.

Technical features

Swim- The material boasts UPF50+ sun protection with supreme chlorine and sun cream resistance. You can take comfort in the fact that you’ve invested in a durable product with ultimate protection from harmful rays for you and your little ones. It’s also 20 % thinner than traditional nylon making it quick drying and ensuring the transition between swimming and relaxing couldn’t be easier.

Gym - Our full coverage swimsuits were designed to be practical and supportive and can seamlessly transition into the perfect gym outfit. The flattering designs eliminate the need for layers. Gone are the days of oversized hoodies constricting our gym game. Meticulously crafted from a soft, breathable fabric that is moisture wicking, effectively pulling the moisture away from your skin leaving you cool and fresh. And if that wasn’t enough, the fabric has muscular compression properties to help improve your muscle recovery and boost your circulation.

At Sei Sorelle Swimwear we are committed to reducing waste and threat to our environment. Our first collection alone has rescued 624kg of waste, including 156kg of discarded fishing nets. You can play your part by choosing to shop more sustainably.
